Upholstery Cleaning

Upholstery cleaning is a very delicate operation. Modern suites have a vast array of styles and blended fibre content. Again, we love to clean upholstery, as the results that can be achieved can be fantastic.

Cleaning a suite - frame, cushions, arms etc can be time consuming, we do take our time, and clean every inch of the suite.

The cleaning process is as follows:

Vacuum with special upholstery tools removing loose soil and dust. 

Apply a specialist upholstery pre-spray which helps to break down the built up soiling, paying special attention to heavily soiled areas, usually arms, seat cushions, head area. This in then lightly agitated with a natural fibre brush. 

The fabric is then thoroughly rinsed through with a specialist hand tool at the same time as the loosened soil and the pre-spray is drawn from the suite, leaving a thoroughly clean fabric.

All furniture has the ability to hold a great deal of dry dust and dirt.

 First step is to thoroughly vacuum, followed by the application of a fabric pre-spray which is gently brushed in to breakdown and suspend all soils.

Then the fabric is thoroughly rinsed and instantly extracted, removing all the suspended soils.

Finally velvet needs to have the pile re-set using a velvet brush.
